1. What is inside a bite
Each Ferutz bite is one whole freeze-dried strawberry or raspberry, coated in real white, milk, or dark chocolate, plus specialty coatings like cookie, matcha, and raspberry white chocolate. The fruit is whole. Not a paste, not chopped pieces, not a flavouring. Bite one in half and you can see the berry.
2. What freeze-drying does to the fruit
Freeze-drying removes almost all of the water from the fruit at low temperature, so the berry keeps its shape, its colour, and most of its nutrients, and gains a light, crisp crunch. It is not fried or cooked. The chocolate then seals that crunch in.
3. What Ferutz does not claim to be
We would rather be clear than oversell. Ferutz bites are not organic. They are made with real dairy chocolate, so they are not vegan or dairy-free. Most contain milk, some may contain tree nuts, and the cookie flavour contains biscuit. The full ingredient and allergen list lives on every product page.
4. Where to start
If it is your first bite, start with the white chocolate strawberry, the original, and the one that started the brand. From there the range runs through milk, dark, cookie, matcha, and raspberry white chocolate, plus raspberries in white and dark.
Common questions
Is the fruit really whole?
Yes. A whole strawberry or raspberry goes into every piece. No paste, no bits, no shortcuts.
Are Ferutz bites organic?
No. Ferutz does not make an organic claim. The bites are whole fruit and real chocolate, but they are not certified organic.
Is Ferutz vegan or dairy-free?
No. The chocolate is made with real dairy, so the bites are not vegan or dairy-free.
