1. Our commitment
We believe everyone should be able to learn about our products and get in touch with us. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not an afterthought, and we work to remove barriers as we find them.
2. Standards we work toward
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we design with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in mind. These are targets we build toward continuously rather than a one-time certification.
3. What we have done
Across the site we have worked to provide:
- Semantic, structured HTML with real headings and labels, so assistive technology can navigate the content.
- Full keyboard access, with a clearly visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
- Motion that reduces or turns off when your device requests reduced motion, and no content that flashes.
- Text and interface colours chosen for contrast, and text that reflows and stays readable when zoomed.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and forms that announce their labels and errors.
4. Known limitations and ongoing work
Accessibility is a continuing effort. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target, and content changes over time. We test regularly, fix issues as we find them, and take your feedback seriously.
5. Third-party content
Some parts of the experience may rely on third-party tools or content that we do not fully control. Where that is the case, we work with the provider to improve accessibility, but we cannot always guarantee it.
