Terms of Use.

Last updated August 25, 2026.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Ferutz website operated by Chef Ceber Inc. By using the site, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, including the disclaimers and the limitation of liability.

1. Acceptance of these terms

This website is operated by Chef Ceber Inc. ("Chef Ceber", "we", "us", or "our"), which owns and runs the Ferutz brand. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use this site. If you use the site on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business.

3. Use of the site

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the site for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.
  • Copy, scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content or data from the site except as permitted by law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers, or its security, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or use bots or automated means to submit forms or overload the site.
  • Use the site to send unsolicited or abusive communications.

4. Intellectual property

The Ferutz name, the daisy mark, logos, wordmarks, text, graphics, photographs, illustrations, page design, and their selection and arrangement are owned by or licensed to Chef Ceber and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing on the site grants you any right to use our trademarks or content without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Product information, allergens, and availability

We try to describe our products, flavours, ingredients, and availability accurately, but content on the site may contain errors, may be incomplete, and may change without notice. The information printed on the actual product packaging governs. This is especially important for ingredients and allergens: always read the label on the package before eating a product, and do not rely on the website if you have an allergy or dietary restriction. Our products are made in a facility that handles tree nuts and may contain traces of them.

Product availability, flavours, and where to buy may differ by region and over time. Listing a product on the site is not an offer to sell it, and does not guarantee it is available in your area.

6. No health or dietary advice

Content on the site is provided for general information only. It is not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you have a health condition, allergy, or dietary concern, consult a professional and rely on the product label.

7. Your submissions

When you send us a message or enquiry through the site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not send us confidential information or unsolicited creative ideas, product suggestions, or proposals; any such material you do send may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you, to the extent permitted by law. We handle personal information in your submissions as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Reviews and other content you post

Reviews on this site can only be written by someone signed in to an account with a confirmed order containing that exact product. We check this against the order record every time a review is posted, which is what the verified purchase label means. We do not pay for reviews, offer discounts or free product in exchange for them, or ask anyone to write one in return for anything.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting a review you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, display, reproduce, and adapt it in connection with the product it is about and our marketing of that product, together with the display name you chose. We do not publish your email address.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, threatening, hateful, or infringing, anything containing another person's personal information, or anything that is not your own honest opinion of a product you actually bought.

We may decline to publish a review, or remove one already published, if it breaks these rules or is not about the product. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning. If you want your own review taken down, email us and we will remove it.

Reviews are the personal opinions of the customers who wrote them. They are not statements by Chef Ceber Inc., we do not adopt or endorse them, and nothing a customer writes about a product should be read as a claim by us about that product, including any claim about health, nutrition, or suitability for a particular diet or condition. Our own product claims are the ones on the product page and the product label.

10. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate, complete, or current. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chef Ceber and its directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chef Ceber and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the site or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Ontario, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the site, and you submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will update the date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer.
